If you know me, you'd know that my family and I lost our 12 year old pup earlier this month. Losing her was and still is awful, but the sting of it is a huge reminder of why welcome pets are welcome as part of your session experience. I've always done this because pets are family and I shoot family sessions, so why not? But, now it just means so much more. Even if it means a little extra stress, please know that you can totally bring your pet (as long as the place we're shooting allows)!
I said all of that in the blog post because of this next session of a dog mom with her fur baby. Their session was on one of those super clear nights, where you could see the moon rising, as the sun was setting at the same time. I love, love, love when that happens at a silhouette session and I love how these images turned out!
This next family let me in on a little secret and told me their son was bringing their future daughter in law to their session! It was a secret because not many people knew at the time. It was awesome to see them all bonding together, like she's always been part of the family. :)
I hope you enjoyed the images as much as I do! If you missed part 1 of S&S, it can be found here.
Thanks for looking!
