Mini Session Info for Current or Upcoming Minis
I try to offer fun mini sessions for each season every year. Whether I have minis coming soon, minis currently booking, or minis that have expired, the general info about mini session themes I offer will remain on this page. *Past photos might differ from year to year.
Seasonally themed mini sessions are offered for the different peak seasons throughout the year. I try to have beach minis in the Spring, Sunsets & Silhouettes in the Summer, then some type of Fall and Christmas themed minis from October through November. My mini sessions are usually marathon style, meaning that I have multiple time slots for multiple families to choose from on specific dates. My past clients receive mini session announcements by email, then any leftover time slots will be posted on the sub-pages you see above.
It's perfectly fine to use a seasonal session for things like a child's milestone session, maternity, or a senior's session. Just keep in mind that there are no outfit changes, the location for the minis will be the mini session location that is being used for the minis, along with the theme. The amount of people and the detailed, in between shots will be limited, since there are about 15 minutes allotted. If all of that works for you, then let's do it!

Mini sessions are a great way to get quick family portraits. Due to Daylight Savings, I don't have the weeknight availability in the Fall that I tend to have the rest of the year. Meeting with multiple families in one afternoon every few weekends makes family portraits possible for more of my amazing clients!

The locations above can typically be used for larger session collections as long as I have the availability on a date that's different than a mini session date.
Christmas and Fall themes at my Poquoson location may be booked before the large props are put away, so ask me early if you can!
